Digital Storytelling

Digital storytelling is the use of digital media to tell personal or community-oriented stories. Most digital stories are very short and are often told in less than two minutes and include images, text, and audio. The workshops that I have developed have focused on how to implement digital storytelling within the classroom and as a curriculum for students of all ages. Workshops I have done in the past have focused on how to create stories that focus on self, while others focus on social justice issues, advocacy, and societal change. I have worked with K-12 teachers, university professors, and school administrators. Currently, I am creating a digital storytelling curriculum for a 21st century project that I am co-creating with educators in the Santa Fe area.
